Car Window Tinting BelmontNear the Airport and Great Eastern Highway
Car window tinting in Belmont typically costs $249 to $550 depending on the vehicle and the film, with old tint removal adding roughly $50 to $150. We come to your home or workplace, there is no call-out fee, and most cars take one to three hours.
We bring mobile window tinting to Belmont as part of our Perth car tinting work, fitting the film on your driveway or at the office. For the coolest cabin without going darker, ask about our ceramic tint range. Neighbouring areas we cover include Cannington, Midland and Canning Vale.
Workplace Tinting in Kewdale, Belmont Business Park and Along Great Eastern Highway
According to the City of Belmont, most of the city's businesses are in the Kewdale industrial area, Belmont Business Park and along Great Eastern Highway through Rivervale, Belmont and Ascot. If you work in one of those places, we can tint your car, ute or van in the work car park so it is done by the time you finish.
We need a bay where the car can stay put for the whole job, enough room to open every door, and the business's permission to work there. A covered or shaded bay is best, because wind and dust make it harder to lay film cleanly.

Airport Workers and Fly-In Fly-Out Rosters
Perth Airport is about five minutes from Belmont, and plenty of locals work there or fly out from there for work. If your roster has you away for days or weeks at a time, we can tint the car at home on a weekday when you are back between swings, so it is ready for the next run to the airport.
A car left at home for weeks still sits in the sun. Window film keeps the cabin cooler and blocks the UV that fades dashboards and seats while you are away.
Glare and Night Driving on Great Eastern Highway and Tonkin Highway
Belmont sits on the southern bank of the Swan River, about 7 km east of the CBD, and most trips in or out use Great Eastern Highway, the Great Eastern Highway Bypass or Tonkin Highway. Driving west in the afternoon or east in the morning puts low sun across the side windows and into the cabin.
Side and rear tint cuts that glare and the heat that comes with it. The windscreen can only take a band across the top, so a visor strip is the legal option at the front. After dark, keeping the front side windows at 35% or lighter keeps your view clear, which is why we never fit darker film up front.
The Films We Fit
| Film | VLT | TSER | UV blocked |
|---|---|---|---|
| SunTek CIR 35 | 35% | 52% | over 99% |
| SunTek CIR 20 | 22% | 58% | over 99% |
| Rayno Phantom S9-35 | 35% | 58% | over 99.99% |
| Rayno Phantom S9-20 | 20% | 64% | over 99.99% |
Both of our films are non-metallic, so GPS, phone and radio signals are unaffected. SunTek CIR gives a natural, factory-style look, while Rayno Phantom S9 rejects more heat at the darker shades, according to the SunTek specifications and Rayno. Both block over 99% of UV, and SunTek CIR carries the Skin Cancer Foundation Seal of Recommendation. Every install has a lifetime manufacturer warranty covering bubbling, peeling, cracking and colour change. Compare ceramic tint with carbon tint before you choose.
What WA Law Allows on a Belmont Car
The WA Department of Transport sets the limits in its IB-119D window tinting bulletin, and they apply the same way in Belmont as anywhere else in the state:
- Front side windows, and every other window forward of the B pillar, must measure at least 35% VLT through the glass and film together.
- Glass behind the B pillar on a passenger vehicle can go to 20% VLT, but only where ADR14-compliant external mirrors are fitted on each side.
- The windscreen takes no film apart from a top band that stays above the wiper sweep, out of the primary vision area, and covers no more than 10% of the windscreen.
- Film reflectance cannot exceed 10%, so mirror-look film is out.
Tint that breaks these limits can bring a compliance notice or an immediate fine. Read our guide to the darkest legal tint in WA before picking a shade.
Aftercare for a Car That Lives Outside
Keep the windows up for 48 hours so the film edges can set. Light haze or small water pockets are normal while the film cures, and they clear on their own as it dries.
Clean the glass with a soft microfibre cloth and an ammonia-free cleaner, and keep scrapers and abrasive pads away from the inside of the windows. If anything still looks wrong once the film has cured, call us on 08 9244 3758. Our window tint aftercare guide covers the first week in more detail.
